Adel Elnahas, the head of the Cairo department of Greek and Latin Studies, has just announced the publication of his translation of Character of Theophrastus (Ἠθικοὶ χαρακτῆρες) into Arabic. Homer's Iliad into Arabic Prose by Ahmed Etman et alli

Homer's Iliad is translated into Arabic prose by Ahmed Etman and alii. The translation was published by the NTC in 2008.

Plautus' Play Mostellaria into Arabic for the first time.

My colleague Dr. Hatem Rabie of Ain Shams University has translated  Plautus' Play Mostellaria  into Arabic.The translation is titled in Arabic "منزل الأشباح"  and published by the National Center of Translation (NCT), the most reliable publishing house not only in Egypt, but also in the Arabic region.
